Slot Machines with more than 5 wheels

When it comes to slot machines there are a few main types that you can break the various titles down into; 3 reels and those with 5 reels or those with more than 5. There are literally thousands of different options for you to choose from in this age of online gaming so differentiating between the amounts of reels on offer is a good way to get started with narrowing down your playing options if you wish to do so.

What are 3 or 5 reel slots?

These are slots with more of an old school feel to them. They are also the best option for beginners to get used to the world of slots. They usually have one pay line across three or five spinning reels. They are usually more straightforward and more limited in terms of the types of bets that can be placed.

What are 6 reel or more slots?

As it is a larger board, you are going to have a lot more opportunities to win thanks to the five or more reels. It also allows there to be much more pay lines integrated into the slot.

Staggered reels will usually have somewhere between 2 and 7 symbols on each of the reels.

This means there are more ways in which you can win as well as making these wins more regular than the alternatives. They usually integrate a lot more bonus features and side games such as scatter and wild symbols as well as free spins and other similar features.

  1. I don’t think there are more winning opportunities in 6 reel slots and less in 3 reels. Some games are simply better than the others in terms of the winning opportunities. I have played slots with 6 reels made by reputed providers but they were worth nothing. All 3 reels and 5 reels slots are also no better. Some games in every category are better simply. Like the Irish Gold by Play N’ Go is a old game but I still played it when friend recommended and it was good. I didn’t expected a win of about 40x bet in such a game but I won many times. It was also cheaper to play it without risk and still expect good win.

My favourite 5 reels game and favourite game of all time is gold factory by microgaming. It’s highly recommended because whenever I play that game I have at least one win.

Finally, I recently start playing several 6 reels games but truth is that I didn’t found any joy in them. They are nothing but just complex and difficult. Suggested are always simple slot games with many bonus features like the gold factory.

  2. My first ever video slot with 6 reels was Raging Rhino of WMS (Williams Interactive). I played it today and I must say the change was better. 6×4 reels mean more symbols at a time and obviously more chances of landing winning combinations. I think I will play many more from this category in future. But Raging Rhino is recommended to all!

  3. Agreed.
More reels will allow the developers to integrate more paylines and this simply increases the chances of winnings.
I have been playing slot since years. Even the 3 reels with 1 payline structure can give you wins but worth peanuts. I had a real good time with RTG’s diamond mine deluxe back in the days but moving on to the modern slots always did better to me. Btw for those who like 3 reel slots by Amaya are good but they’re comparatively low RTP games.
Millionaires club 3 reel was always my choice but the game’s newer 5 reel versions were better.
I not only like 6 reel games because of more paylines but because they often have more bonuses and more block winning options in the base game. Microgaming’s arctic fortune has 5 reels but 1024 paylines so paylines don’t matter that much here. It’s about wins and you definitely have more options with 6 reels. Emojiplanet, Queen of Riches and Raging Rhino are good.

  4. Have you win 5 of a kind with a high paying symbol in 5 reel game then imagine 6 of a kind. I haven’t win this but imagine the opportunity of 6 reels and so many symbols and huge prize opportunity.
I started casino when 3 reels were popular and I still like to play some of them for mobile but if you are not a mobile play then I dont think so to consider 3 or 5 reel slots when 6 are available. They are worth playing than any other.

  5. Many 6 reeled slot games are of a high variance means they perfectly fit into the highroller category of slots. I have seen many articles focussing on the highroller slot games. So here they are.

You have a chance to win big jackpots and exclusive features in these games.

Some two years ago I used to play Zeus slot game for hours without rest. Imagine how good that game was for me. It was also disappointing one because I never managed to win 100 free spins by landing 5 scatters. But the game is excellent in terms of wild wins and the regular activation of 10 or 25 free spins.

I also tried Zeus 1000 bu the game’s real successor is Zeus 3. It’s 6 reeled with 192 paylines. I recently started playing this slot and still doing. 6 reels doesn’t help in getting more scatters here or more free spins but activation of features like the wild reels was certainly better than normal. I just couldn’t imagine the difference before trying. Now it also urges me to try more and more 6 reel slots. Trend changed for me actually and I don’t think so any 3 or 5 reel slot is ever going to appear on my laptop’s screen again.
